Kantha is a style of Indian Embroidery variety which originates from ‘Kolkata’ - the state of West Bengal. 

The tutorial is below

Step : 1    -   Take the thread with needle –

put it under the cloth –  make the running stitch as shown in the picture.

Step : 2   -   Finish the whole outline border with the running stitch
continued as shown in the picture.
